Entering corporate consumption via business travel scenarios and breaking the “one-size-fits-all” norm prevalent across the industry, Yang Yinfeng, Founder and Chairman of Zhejiang FANJIA Holding Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as FANJIA), has led FANJIA in continuous innovation. He has built a service-oriented enterprise supply chain platform to empower ecosystem partners and help enterprises cut costs and boost efficiency.
“Innovation starts with focusing on core business and customers. Since our founding in 2009, whether selling traditional air tickets and hotel stays or operating today’s big-data AI systems, FANJIA has always innovated around customer needs,” said Yang Yinfeng.

Innovation: The Driving Force for Sustained Growth
After nearly 15 years of innovative exploration, FANJIA has grown into a service-oriented enterprise supply chain platform integrating diversified services including business travel, centralized procurement, daily consumption and financial services. By 2023, it had served tens of thousands of listed and large-and-medium-sized enterprises. The engine behind its sustained development is Yang Yinfeng’s persistent user-centric philosophy, guiding FANJIA to achieve breakthroughs and innovation within enterprise services. Under his leadership, FANJIA tapped into corporate consumption starting from business travel, delivering all-round services for enterprises and employees, and leveraging WorkBee to help businesses achieve cost reduction, efficiency gains and low-carbon operations.
“Personalized and differentiated services are key metrics for raising customer satisfaction during business trips,” Yang Yinfeng explained. “FANJIA’s professional team provides one-on-one support. Drawing on industry and corporate data, we help clients accurately identify business travel demands and optimize travel management workflows. We upgrade FANJIA’s travel management services through digitalization, customization and personalization.”
Take the FANJIA Travel APP as an example. The platform offers one-stop booking for full-scenario travel products such as air tickets, hotels, train tickets and chauffeur services, alongside end-to-end digital management for travel applications, planning and approvals, and reimbursements. Powered by multi-dimensional travel big-data analytics and flexible payment options, it enables employees to travel without advance payments, manual reimbursement or physical invoices. Transparent, compliant, convenient and efficient, the platform helps enterprises reduce costs and improve productivity.
Having expanded from business travel into corporate consumption, FANJIA leverages its strengths in commodity resources, supply chain capacity and digital technologies to deliver one-stop centralized procurement services for tens of thousands of enterprises, covering corporate gifts, enterprise customization and employee benefits, making corporate procurement more economical, worry-free and effortless.
In addition, FANJIA provides comprehensive lifestyle consumption services for corporate employees spanning dining, accommodation, travel, sightseeing, shopping and entertainment. A membership system is also available, allowing employees to access discounts across all product categories on FANJIA’s platform.
WorkBee, FANJIA’s flagship in-house product, is now widely deployed in corporate management workflows including travel control, attendance tracking and employee care. Employees earn WorkBee rewards for contributing to the company. One WorkBee point equals one RMB, redeemable for subway rides, shopping, fuel purchases and many other consumption scenarios. Notably, FANJIA also grants WorkBee rewards to enterprises and employees that meet low-carbon criteria to encourage green travel and contribute to a low-carbon future.
People are the foundation of innovation. As a business travel enterprise, over half of FANJIA’s staff are technical specialists, with substantial annual investment in R&D. Yang Yinfeng told the interviewer: “We need a large technical workforce for system integration, connecting data with clients’ OA and SaaS systems. Driven by strong market demand and long launch cycles, our demand for technical talent continues to rise this year.”
The Business Travel Industry Weathering Trials
As an old saying goes, “The duck knows first when the river water warms in spring.” For China’s business travel sector, 2023 was a year of both promise and volatility. Business travel demand surged in the first half of the year before weakening in the second half. For Yang Yinfeng, with fifteen years of deep experience in the industry, this was a clear signal.
“The market swings in 2023 show that the broader environment remains challenging. Within the business travel industry, several leading players delivered strong performance with doubled growth, yet most smaller firms have exited the market,” Yang Yinfeng said. More than 90% of travel agencies withdrew from the market amid the three-year pandemic, and FANJIA itself narrowly survived.
It is reported that over 400 Zhejiang listed companies are FANJIA clients, accounting for roughly 60% of the province’s listed enterprises. This stable client base helped FANJIA navigate the pandemic years smoothly and achieve doubled revenue in 2023. These achievements stem from Yang Yinfeng’s original entrepreneurial aspiration: helping enterprises grow and improving employee well-being.
“I have always believed the business travel industry holds great potential. In developed economies across Europe and the United States, business travel services are mature. In China, however, the industry is still in its early stage due to immature supply chains and technologies,” Yang Yinfeng stated. In the coming year, he will lead FANJIA to enrich service scenarios covering dining, accommodation, travel, sightseeing, shopping and entertainment, with a focus on developing the membership system. With a more robust supply chain and richer product portfolio, FANJIA will further advance digital and intelligent transformation for enterprises across industries, contributing to high-quality development of China’s economy.
“FANJIA has reached a relatively stable phase, yet I remain vigilant. Still, one principle stays unchanged: customers and society are our top priority.” When discussing future growth and corporate innovation, Yang Yinfeng spoke cautiously yet resolutely. In his view, innovation must be rooted in focus on core business and customers, but innovation carries risks. Entrepreneurs should act within their capacity while pursuing breakthroughs. This may well be the secret behind FANJIA’s philosophy: Grow Upward, Live with Kindness.
